On January 8, we will discuss Kiss the Ground (2020), 1 hour 25 minutes.

Science experts and celebrity activists unpack the ways in which the earth’s soil may be the key to combating climate change and preserving the planet. Narrated by actor Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground reveals that, by regenerating the world’s soils, we can completely and rapidly stabilize Earth’s climate, restore lost ecosystems and create abundant food supplies. Using compelling graphics and visuals, the film artfully illustrates how, by drawing down atmospheric carbon, soil is the missing piece of the climate puzzle. This film is inspiring and offers something we have been woefully short of—optimism for the future.

The film is available on Netflix and Vimeo.
