The Coup Attempt: An Analysis by Arlie Hochschild


Arlie Hochschild is a professor of sociology emerita at the University of California, Berkeley. She is the author of nine books, including, most recently, Strangers in Their Own Land: Anger and Mourning on the American Right, New York Times best seller and finalist for the National Book Award.  She’s twice spoken at meetings of Democratic Members of Congress and was the first speaker in Ashby Village’s Arts & Culture Series in March, 2017.
