Soprano Jumi Kim, designed a course – now in its second year – for Ashby Village members interested in classical music that will feature a brief lecture accompanied by a description of the repertoire to be performed by Jumi or other guest artists. Every month she will present a different topic/composer.
Celeste Solo Ensemble will start 2022 with a joyful New Year’s concert! Violinist Seo Hee Byun, pianists Hyunji Park and Bukyung Shin will return to our class with our newest member, August Lee, cellist. Together we will present exciting music from the Baroque Era.
Celeste Solo Ensemble was founded to provide a platform for professional musicians to collaborate. Our mission is to provide classical music lovers an intimate experience with select artists while providing professional musicians an alternative platform to collaborate with peers. Our vision is to increase awareness and interest in classical music and unleash the creative energy of classical musicians.
