By request of the Perennials, the audience needs to wear masks. Ashby Village is pleased to welcome back the Perennials Improv Troupe. They are a group of women in their 60s and 70s who create light-hearted entertainment by weaving songs, scenes, and rhymes into their performances—all made up on the spot!
They invite audiences to suggest topics for them to use in scenes and to join them onstage in games and stories. Each show is a World Premiere that has never been seen before and will never be seen again!
Their members have performed at residences for elders, senior centers, conferences, fundraisers, and improv festivals in the Bay Area. The Perennials keep their skills sharp through improv and acting classes at Oakland’s Stagebridge Performing Arts Institute, the longest-running senior theater company in the United States (stagebridge.org).
Please join us for a light-hearted show that’s sure to get you smiling. Come and laugh with us!
