Ashby Village Yoga for Balance & Strength: Series 5

The remaining classes in this series will be on Zoom.

Class begins at 10:00 AM
 until 11:30 AM.
(Zoom Room opens at 9:30 AM.)

Props required: Yoga mat, chair, strap (could be a bathrobe tie or a belt), block (could be a roll of toilet paper if no block) also good to have water available.

Registration Required: If you would like to join class, please send an email to the teacher, Nancy (nancyyates1@gmail.com) if you have any questions or concerns about participating in the class (any injuries or health concerns will be good for her to know). Once you've contacted her, she will send you the details for joining the class on Zoom.

How to Join:

Class begins at 10:00 AM. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to settle in, take care of any technical difficulties, and set up your practice space, and props so we can start on time. Looking forward to practicing with you soon!

Meet the instructor:

Nancy Yates has been practicing yoga for 42 years and has studied with master teachers in Iyengar, Ashtanga and Hatha yoga traditional disciplines. She has been on the faculty of the Sutter Health/California Pacific Medical Center for 10 years, where she teaches at the SF Women’s Health Resource Center. She is a certified National Arthritis Foundation Instructor and currently teaches at the SF Veterans Administration Medical Center and at the Clipper Club at Watergate in Emeryville. Her classes will include options for a range of abilities.
