The Events Team Presents: Southeast Berkeley History Walk
The Guided Walk: Ashby Village Member Ron Sipherd has a vast collection of local walks. (More about Ron below) He will be leading us on a neighborhood loop showcasing homes and history in Southeast Berkeley. Please check the map posted here for the route that is planned. You can access more details about this walk by clicking here. Note: When you scroll to the bottom of that link, Ron generously gives access to his collection of walks. We will start out across the street from St Clement's Church, stroll gently downhill to the half-way point, Willard Park, where restrooms are available. The second half will be a gentle uphill back to the starting point. Registration will be limited to 25, as Ron will be chatting and pointing out highlights along the way.
What to Bring: Wear good walking shoes, layered clothing, hat for sun protection, water, and camera! Location and Parking: 2837 Claremont Blvd. is the church address. We will meet across the street. The 2 hour parking restrictions should be eased on Sunday. Park near the intersection of Russell and Claremont Blvd. Scroll to the top of this announcement for a map to the intersection.
