Photo Librarian
Ashby Village is seeking a volunteer to organize and caption its extensive photo archives. Under the supervision of the Operations & Volunteer Manager, this volunteer will:
- Manage archived and incoming digital photographs using BRIDGE photo-organizing software.
- Date and tag photos, identify occasion and persons depicted, etc.
Qualifications
- We will train. No previous experience with BRIDGE software necessary, but must be comfortable navigating computer platforms.
- Self-motivated; ability to work independently within general guidelines
- Good organization skills and “big picture” vision
- Warmth, humor, enthusiasm, persistence
- Prefer knowledge of Village’s mission and administrative structure
Time commitment: 3 hours/week in the Ashby Village office.
