Native Here Nursery is a project of the East Bay Chapter of the California Native Plant Society. They have permits to collect seeds from parks in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. They raise native plants from seed to sell to the public, to landscapers and for restoration. The walk will be to enjoy the beauty of the plants, many of which will be in bllom, and to learn about the nursery and its operation.
