We will continue our study of Brain Science with a session on the
Aging Brain
. Shirley Jowell will recount her experiences with the UC Davis brain studies. See below for some interesting articles we will discuss.
We will plan for our March meeting – suggested topic? (And, for this time as well, suggested date). And, be forewarned – a Village photographer will join us to take pictures of our group.
From Audre Newman:
THE AGING BRAIN
How does the healthy brain age after age 60: What are some of the things that can go wrong? How can we keep our brains healthy? These questions and others will be discussed. To prepare, please read the following article: “
What happens to the brain as we age?
