Ashby Village Holiday Party
In the dark of winter, we will be bringing in the Light!

 
Ashby Village members, volunteers - their friends and families are warmly welcome. 
 
Our Village knows how to throw a fun party and this year's Holiday Party on
December 14 will be no exception! There will be food & drink, music & merriment,
gifts & prizes, new friends & old, old(er) and young(er)! 
  
WHERE: NORTHBRAE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 941 The Alameda in Berkeley
WHEN: Friday, December 14, 6:00-9:00 PM
 
THE BAND: The Astronauts A jazz ensemble formed by rising stars in the Jazzschool Institute degree program.  The Astronauts was originally assembled to perform for the East Bay Alzheimers Center in Berkeley. Now, following a series of successful and moving performances, The Astronauts are ready to take the show on the road! 
Featuring:
Christian Sullivan, piano Bil Hager, bass Marshall Dean Williams, drums Martín Blank, saxophone Lou Antonio Salcedo, electric guitar Help your community and listen to some killer jazz from way back, alongside some newer tunes, performed by a swinging group of rising stars.
 
WHAT TO BRING:
1. A photograph of you in the first third of your life.
2. A nicely wrapped item you would like to re-gift-- we will do a small exchange at the tables
3. Wine or Soda or Bubble Water to drink
4. A dish to share, enough for 8 guests. 
 
POTLUCK ASSIGNMENTS: Depending on the first initial of your last name, you are encouraged to bring the following dishes. (I.E. if your last name is Thomas you can bring a dessert dish):
A-H  Main Dish
I-M Vegetable or Salad
N-Q Grain Dish
R-Z Dessert
  • The Village will supply plates, cups, silverware, napkins as well as water, coffee and tea.
  • Dishes should arrive warm (if applicable) and ready to serve-including utensils.
  • You can drop off passengers and dishes at entrance in parking lot before you park your car.
  • RSVP here Let us know if you are coming and who you are bringing!
  • Wheelchair-accessible.
