Sandra Butler joins us to talk about her latest book Leaving Home At 83. She gives us an intimate glimpse into what can happen when a self-described queer Jewish feminist activist leaves her bay area home of 50 years to move into a residential facility in an unfamiliar city in order to live closer to her daughters in Arizona.
We are very much looking forward to hearing more about Sandra's experiences, perspective and brave choices.
Sandra Butler will be in conversation with her friend Nan Gefen, who is the co-founder of Tikkun magazine and the founder of Persimmon Tree: A Magazine of the Arts by Women Over Sixty. She also is the author of four books, including “It Never Ends: Mothering Middle-Aged Daughters,” (co-authored by Sandra Butler).
