Caregivers Support Group II
The aim of this group is to provide participants an opportunity to learn from and support each other by sharing the ways we care for and communicate with a loved one who has ongoing disabilities such as dementia, cancer diagnosis, heart disease or other health or cognitive issues.
The group provides a safe place to discuss the stresses, challenges (e.g., emotional toll, loss of companionship, financial) and rewards of care providing. This is a peer-led support group for Ashby Village members and meets bimonthly.
The group is currently full.
