Your Story, Your Power as Frontrunners
A Talk by Peggy Reskin
Peggy Reskin has lived in Berkeley since the 70’s and raised her family here. She will speak about her book “Barefoot Frontrunners: Sex, Women & Power.” She writes about the history and perspective of the impact of the sexual revolution as lived thru by women & men of the 1960’s. The book is based on the interviews and research about the generation of those women and men who came thru the politics of the 1960’s and led the country to new political and social practices and organization of marital and family patterns.
What was your experience as life changed personally and politically?
What do you consider to be the advantages and disadvantages of the results of the changes that occurred over these decades?
