About this event

.Walk to Sausalito!
Volunteer Event

Join us and make the most of San Francisco's unique geography
by going on a 10 mile urban hike with other AV volunteers!

This hike gets you killer views with your workout while you explore San Francisco.

DETAILS:

Walking at a moderate pace (averaging about 2.5/3.0 miles per hour),
we'll start at the SF Ferry building at the Embarcadero, to Fisherman's Wharf,
Aquatic Park, Fort Mason, The Palace of Fine Arts, Presidio,
stop to have lunch near the Yoda Fountain at Lucas film headquarters,
on to the San Francisco National Cemetery, Crissy Field,
walk over the Golden Gate Bridge ending in Sausalito
in enough time to have some ice cream
and to take the ferry back to where we started!
(Total miles 10.6 miles)

Since it's Fleet Weekend, we may catch a glimpse of the Blue Angels, too!

NOTE: This is a timed walk setup for exercise with sightseeing along the way. Although we will stop to have a brown bag lunch, we will not have time to stop into
museums, shops, restaurants along the route.
