Music Appreciation: Listening Guide to Classical Music
For our classical music lovers – but not only…
Soprano Jumi Kim, designed a course – now in its second year – for Ashby Village members interested in classical music that will feature a brief lecture accompanied by a description of the repertoire to be performed by Jumi or other guest artists. Every month she will present a different topic/composer.
Class 10: Celeste Solo Ensemble: Beethoven "Fate"
Celeste Solo Ensemble violinist Evelyn Kwark and pianist Hyunji Park will present some of Beethoven's well-known masterpieces. The Duo will take you on a journey of Beethoven's life and "Fate" through his sonatas, such as "Spring" and "Moonlight" which are iconic cornerstones of classical music history.
Celeste Solo Ensemble was founded to provide a platform for professional musicians to collaborate. Our mission is to provide classical music lovers an intimate experience with select artists while providing professional musicians an alternative platform to collaborate with peers. Our vision is to increase awareness and interest in classical music and unleash the creative energy of classical musicians.
