Help Get Out the Vote in a Key Battleground State
Join Ashby Village’s Elder Action interest group for an in person, fun and useful event.
Write postcards to Georgia voters - their primary for important down ballot elections is coming up. As one of the most competitive battleground states, Georgia is also expected to play a major part in the 2024 presidential election. We’ll be writing to BIPOC/community of color voters in Georgia’s greater Atlanta area. Recent redistricting there has split up counties and created, but not added, a new majority-minority district, causing confusion among voters about what district they are in and where to vote. Our postcards inform voters of where and when to vote, whom to contact, and key issues at stake.
Primary voting promotes consistent voting habits, and greatly increases the likelihood of voting in the fall. Join us for the whole time, less than two hours, or pick up postcards and do it at home.
