Joan Didion: The Center Will Not Hold
Available on Netflix and lasts 1 hour and 38 minutes.

Our May documentary, Joan Didion:The Center Will Not Hold, was made by Didion’s nephew, Griffin Dunn. It highlights her personal and iconic literary work in a warm and conversational manner.  Her remarkable autographical book, The Year of Magical Thinking, won the Pulitzer Prize for nonfiction work. Starting as a journalist, her work reflects the striving to put disorder into order.  This documentary was recommended by Janell Moon who said she “learned and loved the video.”
