Neighborhood Conversations - North Oakland Village & Outlandish

Come join us in our smaller, interactive sessions hosted by Neighborhood Group Coordinators with the Board’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Working Group. The discussions will provide an opportunity for members and volunteers to learn about and help shape what Ashby Village is doing to pursue our commitment to becoming more inclusive and engaged with the broader community.

“It’s a grand opportunity to get engaged in a current social issue that is connected to past experiences that many of us have had,” says Don Hubbard, co-coordinator of the North Berkeley Neighborhood Group. The schedule follows:

May 16, 2 PM - Northtowns & The Hamlet
May 20, 10 AM - North Berkeley & The Midlands
May 23, 2 PM - North Oakland Village & Outlandish
June 6, 2 PM - Emery Bunch & Clarewood

Members and volunteers are encouraged to attend any one of the scheduled meetings above to learn more and get involved. Neighborhood group leaders will be reaching out to encourage your participation. Feel free to reach out to Laura Peck or Don Hubbard with any questions.
