Barracoon: The Story of the Last "Black Cargo" by Zora Neale Hurston

Lively discussion of a nonfiction book chosen at the previous month's meeting. We have chosen The Story of the Last "Black Cargo" by Zora Neale Hurston for our March book.

This is a story about Cudjo Lewis, one of the last known survivors who was abducted in Africa and shipped to the US. This is about the horror and injustices of slavery.
