CARD MAKING WORKSHOP

Since it has been over a year since we last created cards to send to folks for holidays, birthdays, greetings, Halloween, congratulations, whatever you like, we will be having another CARD WORKSHOP at our next meeting.

Please let Lynn know that you will be attending so that we have enough table space and supplies.

Items to bring (in a box, bag, ...):
glue stick/small bottle school glue
scissors
felt pens/Sharpies
2 sheets of paper towel
colorful magazine or two (to be cut up)
small scraps of fabric
stickers
colorful scraps/sheets of paper
photographs to incorporate into your designs
old holiday cards that you have received (to be cut up)
pieces of ribbon
thin SCRAPS of anything
$5 for the 5 cards and envelopes, wax paper, large envelope, and any supplies that will be provided.

Members can work on their own projects or work together while we learn a new craft. Past projects have included: working with clay, collage, paper maché, wire working and more.  One member has been working on a needlepoint periodic table that promises to be a masterpiece. Another member works on clay fairy houses that he leaves in parks throughout the Bay Area. You don’t need an art background to join…just curiosity and the willingness to try something new.

Please test before coming and feel free to wear a mask if you are more comfortable.

Please RSVP so that we can properly plan.
