WHERE TO MEET and DESCRIPTION: We will meet by the Parking Garage entrance located at 6235 La Salle Ave (the trail can be accessed via steep ramp or stairs there) See more below under Directions. There is also another accessible entrance at 6211 Medau Place - go to the end, take the sidewalk to the right, go thru the tunnel and left and around to the trail. If you take that access point or if you find street parking, plan ahead to meet at the Montclair parking garage.
This easy quirky loop hike starts by tracing a former rail line on a peaceful, paved, tree-lined path. This is an out and back walk, approximately 2 miles. Easy to turn around at any point.
Some may want to shop and/or have lunch at Crogan's Restaurant afterwards (also on La Salle, down the street from the parking structure.)

Or, have a family member or other guest bring you, and join you on the walk.
